Okay, I know I am way behind the times and you are probably thinking, geez does an author really have to win two Man Booker’s before she’ll read their work — I have finally bought myself a copy of Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel. I got it in audio because I heard the narration by Simon Slater really makes the cast of characters come alive. I rarely listen to audiobooks greater than 20 hours in length (this is 24 hours), we’ll see how I go…
Corporeality by Hollis Seamon is a collection of short stories being released in January 2013 (review copy) that I hope to read as part of the Short Story Summer Challenge that’s just begun. Initially it was the clever title and then the quirky cover art (I have a thing about ducks) that really sold this for me. Corporeal means ‘having material or physical form or substance’.
