Ima would give anything to escape The Dome and learn what’s beyond its barriers, but the Chicago government has kept all its citizens on lockdown ever since the Scorched Years left most of the world a desert wasteland. When a mysterious group of hooded figures enters the city unexpectedly, Ima uncovers a plot to destroy The Dome and is given the choice between escaping to a new, dangerous city or staying behind and fighting a battle she can never win.

The Socialpunk Trilogy by Monica Leonelle includes Socialpunk (April 2012), Socialmob (July 2012), and Socialhood (October 2012).

From the title I wasn’t expecting it to be a dystopian novel, and it sounds fascinating.

One book – wow! Wish I could stick to one but I am a book addict. New Twitter follower.

Hi Jo,

Socialpunk is not a book for me, but I hope that you enjoy it, especially as you won’t have to wait too long for the next couple of installments.

On the other hand, I love the sound of your current read ‘Craven Images’. This sounds like real edge-of-the-seat stuff and I have added it to my reading list. Can’t wait to stop by and see your review.

Thanks for visiting Fiction Books, your comments are appreciated and have a good week.
